Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Goodhue). Everything went their way against the Triton Cobras on Friday as they made off with a 20-4 win. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Cobras recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Emma Voth made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out six batters over four innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Lola Christianson was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. That home run was her first of the season. Jenna Nelson was another key player, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two doubles.

Goodhue was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Goodhue's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Triton, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-7.
