Football Game Preview: Southern Alamance vs. Asheboro

If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Southern Alamance. On Friday they take on Asheboro . Southern Alamance have yet to lose; Asheboro, on the other hand, are desperate for their first win.

Southern Alamance put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They put a hurting on Southwestern Randolph to the tune of 49-0. No one put up better numbers for Southern Alamance than senior Jsi Hatfield, who brought his A game into the match. He picked up 200 yards on the ground.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-57, which was the final score in Asheboro's tilt against Southeast Guilford. Asheboro were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-43.

Southern Alamance's victory lifted them to 6-0 while Asheboro's loss dropped them down to 0-6. We'll find out if Southern Alamance can add another positive mark to their record or if Asheboro can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Southern Alamance's step.
