Baseball Recap: Verona Comes Up Short

Verona lost to Exeter on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wildcats came up short against the Tigers, falling 19-3. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Verona saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sean Lechner, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Verona's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Exeter, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-12.

Coming up, Verona will host Blue Eye at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Exeter, they will venture away from home to take on Wheaton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
