Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Defeat Ends Lodi's Winning Streak + How To Watch

If Lodi was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of West last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Flames fell 3-1 to the St. Mary's Rams on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

Lodi started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 23-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22.

St. Mary's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Rachel Nemee, who had 34 digs and five assists. That's the most assists Nemee has posted over her last ten matches. Genevieve Rishwain was another key player, getting ten digs and three aces.
