On Tuesday, Corner Canyon got the W thanks in part to Tyler Mortensen playing the best basketball he has all season. Mortensen wasn't messing around, going 5 for 7 en route to 13 points and seven rebounds. The game was his fourth straight with two or more steals. Those seven boards gave him a new career-high.
Mortensen and Corner Canyon will be playing in front of their home fans against Bingham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup will pit Mortensen up against the Miners' star shooting guard Luke West.
