Soccer Recap: Ponca City Takes a Loss

After flying high against Grant last Tuesday, Ponca City came back down to earth. The Wildcats came up short against the Jenks Trojans on Friday, falling 7-0. The loss continues a trend for Ponca City in their meetings with Jenks: they've now lost five in a row.

Ponca City's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Jenks, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Ponca City is set to challenge their familiar foe Piedmont at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Jenks will face off against rival Union at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
