There's no place like home for Douglas, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Galena Grizzlies on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Grizzlies back in September, they had to take a 3-1 loss.

While Douglas won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the first set they played. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-17, 25-19.

Hayley Rocha paced Douglas' offense, picking up 13 kills. Rocha got some help from Emma Zane and her 14 assists. Brooke Wharton controlled things from the service line, finishing with 11 aces.

Douglas has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-13 record this season. As for Galena, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Looking ahead, Douglas will challenge Carson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Galena does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
