There's no place like home for Peotone, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They pulled ahead with a 54-53 photo finish over the Wilmington Wildcats on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Blue Devils: when they faced off against the Wildcats back in January, they had to take a 46-42 loss.

Wilmington lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ryan Nelson, who to rack up 16 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Lucas Rink, who almost dropped a double-double with 11 points and nine rebounds.

The victory got Peotone back to even at 13-13. As for Wilmington, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-9.

Peotone wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 61-45 win against Herscher on the 19th. As for Wilmington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-50 victory against Streator on the 18th.
