Recap: Big Bear Bears vs. Indian Springs COYOTES

If the Big Bear Bears were riding high off their 69-41 takedown of the San Gorgonio Spartans on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Big Bear was outmatched by Indian Springs on the road and fell 87-50. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Big Bear has scored all season.

Aiden Brewer and Ryder Dolan certainly did their best on Monday to try and avoid the loss. Brewer scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and five steals, while Dolan scored 21 points along with five rebounds and three blocks. Brewer is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Big Bear's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Indian Springs, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Bear won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Sultana at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th. Sultana has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for Indian Springs, they will head out on the road to face off against Yucaipa at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Yucaipa focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Thursday.
