The Madison Mustangs will venture away from home to challenge the Gibson County Pioneers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.9 goals per game this season.

Madison barely beat Westview the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Mustangs blew past the Chargers 6-1 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what Madison needed considering they were shut out in their previous game.

They hit Westview with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Austin Willett (2), Grayson Alexander (2), Alijah Madwah, and Jossemar Marcos.

Meanwhile, neither Gibson County nor South Fulton could gain the upper hand last Tuesday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Gibson County's draw makes their record 3-3-2 this season. As for Madison, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Madison took their win against Gibson County in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 8-1 score. In that match, the Mustangs amassed a halftime lead of 5-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Tuesday.
