Basketball Game Preview: Highland Tech Rams vs. Bessemer City Yellow Jackets + How To Watch

Highland Tech is 0-10 against Bessemer City since January of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Rams will welcome the Yellow Jackets at 6:00 p.m. Highland Tech is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Highland Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Savannah Butler led the charge by dropping a double-double with 11 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Butler a new career-high in shooting accuracy (63%). Lily Johnson was another key player, shooting 58% from the field en route to 16 points along with seven assists and three steals.

Meanwhile, Bessemer City narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past West Lincoln 35-33.

Bessemer City found their leader in sophomore Izzy Esamirosa, who went 5-for-9 on her way to 12 points.

Bessemer City's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Highland Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
