Baseball Recap: Berry Takes a Loss

Berry and Appalachian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Berry had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Wildcats haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Berry now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Appalachian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-3 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Appalachian beat Berry by a score of 13-7 later that day.
