Baseball Recap: Pickerington Central Tigers vs. Canal Winchester Indians
After flying high against Logan on Monday, Pickerington Central came back down to earth. The Tigers fell 4-1 to the Canal Winchester Indians on Wednesday. The Tigers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 10-6.
Cael Kogge was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he pitched 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.
On the hitting side, Pickerington Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dillon Powers, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.
