Those seven steals gave Butler a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Liberty Lambert, who shot 63% from the field on her way to 10 points.

Meanwhile, Shining Light Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Southside Christian on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 16-11 victory.

Shining Light Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Gramercy Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.
