Volleyball Recap: Frontier Comes Up Short

Frontier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Pioneer Panthers. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

Maella Newcom paced Frontier's offense, picking up four kills. Newcom got some help from Annabelle Layton and her 12 assists. Layton was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Frontier's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Pioneer, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Coincidentally, Frontier and Pioneer will both be playing Riverton Parke the next time they take the court. The Falcons will head out to face the Panthers at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Panthers will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
