Soccer Game Preview: Davis vs. Weber

The Davis Darts will venture away from home to square off against the Weber Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Davis has six straight victories, Weber has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the pitch.

Davis is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Utah's top teams: Farmington, who was ranked ninth at the time (Davis was ranked seventh). The Darts won by a goal and slipped past the Phoenix 3-2.

Davis hit Farmington with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Cooper Harwood, Kasen Smith, and Tyler Roe.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Weber's offense. They came up short against Farmington two weeks ago, falling 4-0.

Davis' win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Weber, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4.

Davis couldn't quite get it done against Weber in their previous meeting back in April of 2025 as they fell 2-0. Can the Darts avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
