Wickenburg had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the Patagonia Lobos by a score of 2-0.

Mallory Murphy paced Wickenburg's offense, picking up 11 kills. Murphy got some help from Lola Drescher and her 11 assists. Yoami Bool controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

When it comes to explaining why Patagonia lost, don't look at Brianna Majalca. Despite the final result, she had 61 kills. Amaya Somoza was another key player, getting 25 assists and two aces.

Wickenburg's victory bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Patagonia, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 6-1.

Wickenburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Chino Valley on the 8th. As for Patagonia, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Baboquivari on the 9th.
