Basketball Recap: Ramapo Raiders vs. Paramus Spartans
The Ramapo Raiders can now show off ten landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Thursday. They blew past Paramus, posting a 66-33 victory at home. The win was nothing new for Ramapo as they're now sitting on four straight.
Ramapo had a senior duo take command as Chris Cervino scored 17 points along with six rebounds and Wyatt Eglinton manner scored 15 points along with five rebounds. Cervino hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Jordan Ricks, who scored nine points.
Ramapo has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Paramus, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-14.
Ramapo will square off against the Norsemen at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. NV - Demarest is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Paramus, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Indians on February 2nd. Weehawken knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully the Spartans like a good challenge.
