Baseball Recap: San Luis Takes a Loss

The San Luis Sidewinders came up short against the Chaparral Firebirds on Wednesday and fell 5-1. The Sidewinders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

San Luis saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jesus Buzani, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

San Luis now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Chaparral, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Looking ahead, San Luis will square off against Yuma at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chaparral, they will challenge McClintock at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Chaparral's pitchers better be ready for this one: McClintock has averaged an impressive 6.5 runs per game this season.
