Volleyball Recap: Marion Takes a Loss

Marion lost against Norris City-Omaha-Enfield back in October of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 2-0 to the Fighting Cardinals.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-20.

Paislee Freebourn paced Marion's offense, picking up five kills. Freebourn were helped by Addisyn Lenon and Kaylin Wolfe, who contributed seven assists each.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Norris City-Omaha-Enfield, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-1.

Marion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Mt. Vernon on the 18th. As for Norris City-Omaha-Enfield, they will host Wayne City at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
