Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 53-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neodesha Blue Streaks. One positive for the Titans, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Columbus still got an impressive performance from Katy Mooney, who posted 29 points. That was a full 67.4% of Columbus' points, marking the fourth time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Brylie Johnson was another key player, putting up nine points.

Columbus' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Neodesha, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbus will welcome Baxter Springs on Friday. Columbus is facing Baxter Springs at the right time seeing as Baxter Springs is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Neodesha, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cherryvale on January 28th.
