Baseball Recap: Forbes Road Comes Up Short

Forbes Road extended their losing streak to four on Thursday, dropping them down to 1-7. They lost 16-3 to the Everett Warriors. Forbes Road was not able to make up for their defeat to Everett from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

As for Everett, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Everett's part, Trevon Reaugh made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Reaugh was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI.

In other batting news, Everett got a massive performance out of Levi Cornell, who went 2-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Cornell has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Nolan Whisel was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.

Forbes Road has already played their next matchup, a 9-3 loss against Northern Bedford County on the 17th. As for Everett, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 5-4 win against Claysburg-Kimmel on the 17th.
