After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hudson, Kimberly was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Appleton West Terrors a 15-0 shutout. The Papermakers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by six runs or more this season.
The team relied heavily on Shaefer Peterson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. Benny Kieffer was another key player, going 1-for-3 with four RBI.
Kimberly always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Appleton West only posted an OBP of .118.
