Soccer Recap: Stony Point Comes Up Short

Stony Point was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the Vandegrift Vipers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vipers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in January.

Stony Point's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Vandegrift, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Coincidentally, Stony Point and Vandegrift will both be playing Vista Ridge the next time they take the pitch. Stony Point will host Vista Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Vandegrift will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 21st.
