Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Christian Comes Up Short

Lincoln Christian lost against Bergan Catholic back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Crusaders fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-2. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lincoln Christian actually scored more points across those five sets (105-101), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The final score came out to 12-25, 25-22, 25-22, 24-26, 15-10.

Zoe Janke was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 16 digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in October of 2024.

Lincoln Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Bergan Catholic, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Lincoln Christian will take on Yutan in a tournament on Saturday. As for Bergan Catholic, they will be taking part in a tournament against Guardian Angels Central Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
