Basketball Recap: Elcho Takes a Loss

Elcho was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 56-22 loss at the hands of the Florence Bobcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-13 back in December of 2024.

Elcho's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Florence, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elcho will take on Crandon at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Florence, they will host Wabeno/Laona at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
