Volleyball Recap: West Carteret Finds Playoff Glory Versus Hunt + How To Watch

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only West Carteret walked away with it. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hunt Warriors on Tuesday. This was payback for the Patriots, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

West Carteret never let Hunt on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-22, 25-16.

Anna Claire Oakes was the offensive standout of the contest as she had seven digs and four assists. That's the most assists she has posted since back in September.

West Carteret was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Hunt only served four.

West Carteret has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-3 record this season. As for Hunt, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Coming up, West Carteret will face off against Seaforth at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hunt does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
