Basketball Recap: Detroit Public Safety Academy Comes Up Short

Detroit Public Safety Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were beaten by the Voyageur Academy Cougar 97-33. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 589th, while the Cougar are ranked 152nd).

Detroit Public Safety Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Voyageur Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Detroit Public Safety Academy nor Voyageur Academy have any future games scheduled.
