South-Doyle won the last time they faced Carter and things went their way on Tuesday too. The South-Doyle Cherokees walked away with a 56-45 win over the Carter Green Hornets. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cherokees.

Defeat or not, Carter got some senior leadership from Marah Yeo and Caleigh Wilson. Yeo went 5-for-10 on her way to 17 points, while Wilson posted eight points and five rebounds. What's more, Yeo also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Aleeya Blair, who had a point.

South-Doyle's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Carter, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 6-21 record this season.

South-Doyle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-45 win against Sequoyah on the 14th. As for Carter, they have also already played their next contest, a 75-55 loss against Roane County on the 13th.
