Volleyball Recap: Dawson-Bryant Comes Up Short

Dawson-Bryant was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Point Pointers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pointers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19, 14-25, 25-23.

Dawson-Bryant's loss dropped their record down to 1-14. As for South Point, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Dawson-Bryant and Chesapeake will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for South Point, they will take on Westfall in a tournament on Wednesday.
