Basketball Recap: Evangelical Christian Skates Past Lausanne Collegiate with Ease

Evangelical Christian won the last time they faced Lausanne Collegiate and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Evangelical Christian Eagles really took it to the Lausanne Collegiate Lynx for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-43 victory. The Eagles pushed the score to 54-33 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lynx had little chance of recovering from.

Josh Taylor and Zuri Mcclure certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Taylor posted eight points and four steals, while Mcclure scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Richardson, who earned eight points.

The win made it two in a row for Evangelical Christian and bumps their season record up to 6-14. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evangelical Christian will welcome Harding Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Harding Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Evangelical Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lausanne Collegiate, they will host Northpoint Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lausanne Collegiate is facing Northpoint Christian at the right time seeing as Northpoint Christian is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
