Tom Kelly and Christian Tutela provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Toms River South. The longest such play in Shore - South A this season, the connection resulted in 82 yards.

Lacey Township extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Indians, 42-20. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Lions.

Lacey Township's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Kelly threw for 266 and four touchdowns and Tutela had 148 yards receiving. On the ground Kyle Spatz chipped in 121 yards. Spatz helped Lacey Township's passing attack out by catching three balls for 81 yards.

Lacey Township's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Lions feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Kelly has thrown for 725 yards and nine touchdowns this season, while Tutela has 10 catches for 299 yards. Spatz leads the league in rushing with 499 yards.

Toms River North moved up to 71 from 101 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Shore - South A. A 42-10 win over Jackson Memorial helped the Mariners improve their standing.
