Meanwhile, Grundy got the win against Richlands on Monday by a conclusive 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Wave.

While Grundy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-19, 27-25.

Twin Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Grundy, their win bumped their record up to 15-5.
