Football Recap: Clinton Dragons vs. South-Doyle Cherokees

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West, Clinton was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand the South-Doyle Cherokees a 24-0 shutout. The Dragons pushed the score to 21-0 by the end of the third, a deficit the Cherokees had little chance of recovering from.

Mason Eckerson had a dynamite game, throwing for 243 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while also rushing for 41 yards and one TD. Clinton's leading receiver Bryson Maddox was Eckerson's top target yet again, picking up 91 receiving yards and one score.
