He also has established six single-season state records during the 13-2 campaign: 357 of 484 passing for 5,191 yards and 65 touchdowns, plus total offense marks with 69 touchdowns and 5,350 yards.
High was named the game's Offensive MVP after being chosen as Class AA Mr. Football Back earlier in the week.
Receiver Davis Howell was the leader in the title game with 11 catches for 126 yards and four touchdowns.
* Dyshawn Mobley set a single-season state record on Friday even though Powell (Tenn.) was handed a 17-14 loss by Henry County (Paris, Tenn.) during
the Class 5A state championship game. The University of Kentucky
recruit ran for 209 yards to finish the year with a record total of
3,068 yards along with 46 touchdowns. The record of 3,008 had stood
since 1998.
