Soccer Game Preview: North Bay Haven Academy vs. Mosley

The North Bay Haven Academy Buccaneers and the Mosley Dolphins will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Bay Haven Academy is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering South Walton just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Seahawks. While losing is never fun, the Buccaneers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 217th, while the Seahawks are ranked 84th).

North Bay Haven Academy's goal came courtesy of Will Anderson, who's now up to four this season.

Meanwhile, Mosley fell victim to Choctawhatchee and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 3-0 to the Indians.

North Bay Haven Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-4-1. As for Mosley, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 6-4-1.

North Bay Haven Academy took their victory against Mosley in their previous matchup back in November by a conclusive 5-2. Will North Bay Haven Academy repeat their success, or does Mosley have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
