Logan Sanders had an outrageously good game as she had 11 digs, four kills, and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in August. The team also got some help courtesy of Sala Nuu, who had 22 digs and a kill.
Meanwhile, San Marcos didn't have quite enough to beat Steele on Friday and fell 3-2. The loss continues a trend for the Rattlers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now lost nine in a row.
San Marcos took Steele into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking ten-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 22-25, 20-25, 15-5.
Canyon is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 25-12 record this season. As for San Marcos, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-13.
