Fairview extended the longest winning streak in Eastern C (8 Man) this week by beating Circle, 76-12. This was the team's sixth consecutive win.
Fairview took down the Wildcats 76-12 last week, the largest margin of any game. Cody Vitt ran for 218 yards in the win.
Kevin Clausen's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Brock Schriver threw for 19 and one touchdown and Jered Dahl had 14 yards receiving. Justin Bieber helped Fairview's passing attack out by catching one ball for 10 yards.
Scott Andreasen made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Warriors bested Circle. The 5-foot-9 senior recorded one fumble.
Fairview's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Warriors feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Schriver has thrown for 539 yards and eight touchdowns this season, while Bieber has six catches for 120 yards. Vitt leads the league in rushing with 950 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Fairview takes on St. Labre Indian Catholic. The Warriors' offense has scored 396 points this season, good for No. 1 in the league, while the Braves have allowed only 298 on the year.
Fairview's Vitt is a mere 50 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season.
A big matchup in Eastern C (8 Man) this week will be when Froid/Medicine Lake takes on Wibaux. At the moment, the Honkers are in fifth, while the Longhorns are in second.
