Basketball Recap: Eek Takes a Loss

Eek lost to Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The game between the Cougars and the Seahawks didn't end well, with the Cougars falling 56-38.

Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Timara Teeluk led the charge by putting up 17 points. Teeluk's big performance that evening made it four games in a row in which she has scored at least 17 points. Another player making a difference was Railyn Church, who posted 16 points.

Eek's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Eek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kuinerrarmiut Elitnaurviat, they have already played their next matchup, a 41-27 loss against Lewis Angapak on the 6th.
