Softball Recap: Modesto Panthers vs. Waterford Wildcats
It was a proper cat-fight when Modesto duked it out with Waterford on Friday. The Modesto Panthers blew past the Waterford Wildcats 24-8. The Panthers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
Sonia Padilla was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Bozada, who scored four runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
