Soccer Game Preview: Cimarron-Memorial vs. Centennial

The Cimarron-Memorial Spartans will challenge the Centennial Bulldogs at 5:45 p.m. on Monday.

Cimarron-Memorial is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals back in September, they were much more limited against Shadow Ridge on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Centennial). They blew past Somerset Sky Pointe 8-3 on Tuesday. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 6-1.

Cimarron-Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Centennial, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-2.

Cimarron-Memorial came out on top in a nail-biter against Centennial in their previous matchup back in September, sneaking past 3-2. Will the Spartans repeat their success, or do the Bulldogs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
