Football Recap: Surrey Comes Up Short

Surrey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 40-32 to the Dunseith Dragons. Even if the Mustangs couldn't come away with the win, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Surrey's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Dunseith, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-7.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Surrey is set to face off against their familiar foe Kenmare/Bowbells/Burke Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Dunseith will take on rival Alexander on Friday.
