Baseball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Sandusky's Tenth in Last 12 Outings

Sandusky barely beat Brown City the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolves never let the Green Devils get on the board and left with an 11-0 win on Thursday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wolves considering their one-run performance the match before.

Chase Green and Daniel Tovar did most of the damage at the plate: Green went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Tovar got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most hits Green has posted over his last ten games. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Ball, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Sandusky is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Brown City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-8.
