Barron had won five straight games and Abby Miller did her part to make it six on Tuesday. The Golden Bears blew past the Hayward Hurricanes 3-0 for which the team can thank Miller, who had 19 digs and six aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Barron took every set by at least 16 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-9, 25-8.

Barron's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Hayward, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-14.

Barron didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Unity on the 9th. As for Hayward, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Spooner on the 9th.
