Gateway won the last time they faced St. Cloud and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Panthers.

Gateway walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 18-25, 26-24, 25-8.

Despite the defeat, St. Cloud saw an underclassman step up: freshman Monica Gallagher had 12 assists and five digs.

Gateway's victory bumped their record up to 9-3. As for St. Cloud, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.

Gateway didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Osceola on the 25th. As for St. Cloud, they have also already played their next match, a 3-1 win against Tohopekaliga on the 25th.
