Soccer Recap: Rondout Valley vs. Roosevelt
Rondout Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Roosevelt Presidents, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Ganders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Presidents apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.
Rondout Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Roosevelt, their victory bumped their record up to 3-5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rondout Valley will head out to challenge Our Lady of Lourdes at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Roosevelt, they will head out on the road to square off against New Paltz at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. New Paltz will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Roosevelt surely won't give up without a fight.
