Softball Game Preview: Lake Station Edison Fighting Eagles vs. Wheeler Bearcats

For the second straight game, Lake Station Edison will face off against Wheeler. The Fighting Eagles will challenge the Bearcats at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Station Edison has given up an average of 14.8 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Monday just wasn't the day for Lake Station Edison's offense. They came up short against Wheeler on Monday, falling 15-0. The Fighting Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Wheeler has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.6 runs over those games.
