The Bremond Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Meridian Yellowjackets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Bremond is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 43.4 points per game this season.

Bremond took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Wortham 60-30 at home. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Tigers had established a 22 point advantage.

Terrence Scott continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 136 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.6 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.2 rushing touchdowns per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Kasowski, who threw for 112 yards and a touchdown.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Bremond was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 281 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Wortham only rushed for 124.

Meanwhile, a win for Meridian just wasn't in the cards on Friday as the team wasn't able to take the lead at any point. They were beaten by Frost 41-13.

Bremond pushed their record up to 3-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Meridian, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Bremond against Meridian in their previous matchup back in October of 2017, as the squad secured a 56-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bremond since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
