 The ThunderRidge Grizzlies extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Cherry Creek Bruins. They secured a  51-47 W over the Bruins. That's another feather in the cap for ThunderRidge, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
  Charlie Spann was  his usual excellent self,  dropping  a double-double on 25 points and 11  rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last three times he's  played. Another player making a difference was  Ryan Doyle, who  scored seven points along with eight  rebounds and three  steals.
 Several Bruins players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Jeremiah Hammond, who  scored 16 points along with six  rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jonathan Lyons, who  scored 11 points.
 The  victory  made it two in a row for ThunderRidge and  bumps their season record up to 20-5. As for Cherry Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.
 ThunderRidge will square off against Rock Canyon at 10:15  a.m.  on Thursday. Rock Canyon knows how to get  points on the board -- the  team has finished with flashy point totals in its past six matches -- so hopefully ThunderRidge likes a good challenge. Cherry Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
