Volleyball Recap: Pickerington North Comes Up Short

Pickerington North was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Westerville North Warriors. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Toryn Toterhi paced Pickerington North's offense, picking up six kills. Toterhi got some help from Kaleb Nelson and his ten assists. Malachi Yin controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Pickerington North's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Westerville North, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-5.

Looking ahead, Pickerington North will venture away from home to face off against Hilliard Bradley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Westerville North does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
